How it works

Every claim leaves a trace

  1. 1Commitment. A public roadmap item is recorded with its source and deadline.
  2. 2Code. Repository releases and tags are observed, never assumed.
  3. 3Product. Live endpoints are checked on a schedule.
  4. 4Deadline. The date passes, or the project publishes an update.
  5. 5Verified. A moderator records the conclusion with reasons and evidence.

How the Ship Score works

A transparent, versioned delivery score

Each project receives a 0–100 Ship Score only when minimum data exists; otherwise we show Insufficient data. The formula is public and every snapshot stores raw component values and the formula version.

Straight answers

Frequently asked

Is a Ship Score investment advice?

No. It measures documented delivery against public commitments. It says nothing about price, returns, or whether to buy or sell anything.

How does a milestone become “shipped”?

A moderator reviews accepted evidence (a working product, a repository release, official documentation) and records the change with a written reason. Community submissions never change status on their own.

What happens when a deadline passes without evidence?

The milestone is marked “No qualifying evidence found as of [date]”. That is a fact about the public record, not a claim about intent. Projects can request a correction at any time.

Can a project pay to improve its score?

No. There is no paid placement, no token that influences scoring, and every calculation is published with the formula version used.

Where does the data come from?

Public roadmaps, repositories, documentation, product endpoints, and reviewed community submissions. Every record carries its source URL and access timestamp.
